and children under 5 are free.

the largest Irish dance that takes place all year and it's at the CSPS Hall, a historic vaudeville hall built around
the turn of the century with a wonderful wood dance floor. CSPS stands for Czeck-Slovakian Preservation Society and they've
done a wonderful job of taking care of this great building.
All the dances are taught and beginners are welcome.
Beverages (soda, water, beer) and desserts will be available.

This event is a fundraiser and fun family event to raise money to support St. Arc's Sister Parish
projects in Tierra Nueva Dos near Guatemala City. This relationship promotes equality and respect and boradens knowldge
of the people and cultures of both communities through sharing on a cultural, spiritual, economic, social and political level.
All dances taught, beginners welcome.
Refreshments and snacks will be available.

of Minnesota for all they have done and are doing for our community. The event marks 40 years of Ruth's amazing
creativity and dedication to making our cities more beautiful and humane places to live.

On the 23rd, Cooks of Crocus Hill is creating a South Carolina "low country shrimp boil," a casual,
role up your sleeves and dig in menu to enjoy in the beautiful Bailly vineyard, accompanied by traditional Irish music by
our favorite Irish band, Barra. The cost per person is
$100, which will go toward helping the Community Design Center continue its important work through its Children's Gardens
and CSA programs, its Youth Conservation Corps, nutrition and cooking classes, and empowering kids to better their communities

We will be playing some mostly appropriate seasonal
tunes and songs. The only song the Eddies do that mentions Christmas is John Prine's "Christmas in
Prison" so maybe it's not really a holiday show? But probably close enough. The evening's schedule
is: an opening set by Barra, a middle set by guitar monster/singer-songwriter, Patsy O'Brien, and a closing set

Saturday, March 13 Oak Center General Store - www.oakcentergeneralstore.com 8 PM Oak Center, MN Barra (plus Dave Cammack on bodhran and accordion!) will
be performing in concert as part of the Oak Center General Store's ongoing concert series. The concert takes place
at the historic Oak Center General Store located on Highway 63, 10 miles South of Lake City; or 25 miles north of Rochester. The
store was built in 1913 and the building underwent renovation in 1976 and was dedicated to rebuilding a better world
from the earth up. Their concert schedule runs
from October through April and they pride themselves in offering the best live music you can find in South Eastern Minnesota.
The acoustics in the 90-year old community hall are top notch, and the atmosphere leads to many memorable events. While you are there, you can enjoy organic popcorn, home-baked cookies, natural sodas, waters, coffee
& beer. Before concerts and during intermission, you can shop in the Oak Center General Store to stock up on organic foods
or some of the many other interesting and useful treasures you may find.
Tickets are between $15 and $5, depending on ability to pay. To make ticket reservations, please call the Oak
